Rob Sweere - Second Skin (two person monastry)

Rustic residence in a beautiful monastery-calm, wind and waterproof house, with a young oak as inhabitant.

Rob Sweere

Rob Sweere is a visual artist. This is his third acte de présence on UrbanCampsite. In 2013 he created the fully transparent X-Ray, two years later followed by Upsite Down You Turn Me, containing just a few portholes. This years hermetically sealed Second Skin is a steel frame stretched with a new ultra-flexible plastic that feels like skin. Second Skin is a project in a series of 'plantations' to improve the urban microclimate through a symbiosis between buildings and plants.
